Last updated 31 August 2026 · Applies to Wareform 1.0 for iPhone
The short version. Wareform has no accounts and no analytics. Your training, meals, weight, and runs are stored on your iPhone and synced through your own iCloud account — we have no server holding your data and no way to read it. Four features send something off your phone to be processed: they are listed by name below, and none of what they send is kept after the answer comes back.
Who we are
Wareform is published by Ware Solutions LLC. If anything here is unclear, or you want to ask what we hold about you, email keatonjware@gmail.com. The honest answer to that second question is "nothing" — but ask anyway if you'd like it confirmed.
What Wareform stores, and where
Everything you record in the app is written to your device and, if you're signed in to iCloud, synced to your private iCloud database so it reaches your other devices. That storage is yours. It is governed by your iCloud account and Apple's terms — Ware Solutions LLC cannot read it, and there is no copy on any server we run.
This is the full list of what's stored:
- Profile — display name (optional), height, weight, date of birth, biological sex, activity level, goal, and your calorie, macro, and water targets
- Training — workout and running plans, planned sessions, exercises, completed sessions, and every set you log (weight, reps, order, time)
- Runs — start and end time, distance, duration, pace, elevation gain, and heart rate where available
- Nutrition — food entries with name, brand, barcode, serving size, macros, meal type, and any photo you took for an AI estimate; saved meals and their ingredients
- Daily logs — water, vitamins, and weigh-ins
- Preferences — chosen theme, unit preferences, and whether Apple Health sync is on, stored in app settings on that device
Deleting the app removes the local copy. To remove the synced copy as well, delete Wareform's data from iCloud in Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.
What leaves your phone
Four features need a server to answer, and one security check runs on first launch. Everything else works entirely on device.
| Feature | What is sent | Where it goes | Kept? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identify a meal from a photo | The photo, resized, plus any hint you typed | Our relay server → Anthropic (Claude) | No |
| Describe a meal in text | Your description | Our relay server → Anthropic (Claude) | No |
| Generate a training or running plan | Your written goal, days per week, plan length, and a one-line profile summary: sex, age, height, weight, activity level | Our relay server → Anthropic (Claude) | No |
| Meal-plan chat and ingredient macro estimates | The messages or ingredient lines you enter, and your calorie and macro targets | Our relay server → Anthropic (Claude) | No |
| Food search and barcode lookup | The words you searched, or the barcode number | Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, FatSecret | Per their own policies |
| App integrity check (App Attest) | An Apple-issued key identifier and public key for this install | Our relay server | Yes — see below |
About the relay server
The AI features go through a small server we operate rather than calling Anthropic from your phone directly. That exists so the API key isn't shipped inside the app where it could be extracted. The server forwards your request, returns the answer, and does not write the request or the response to a database or a log file. Its only stored data is the App Attest table described next.
About the integrity check
On first use of an AI feature, the app registers an Apple App Attest key so our server can tell a genuine copy of Wareform from a script abusing the endpoint. We store the key identifier, its public key, and a counter. This identifier is generated by Apple for this app on this device, is not the device's advertising identifier or serial number, cannot be linked to you, and is not shared with anyone.
What is not sent
- Your food diary, weight history, training history, or run history
- Your GPS route, or any location data at all
- Anything read from Apple Health
- Your name, email address, or any account identifier — there are no accounts
Apple Health
Only if you switch on Apple Health sync in Settings:
- Wareform writes your finished workouts and runs, meals logged as dietary energy, water, and weigh-ins.
- Wareform reads body weight, so a measurement from your scale or another app keeps your trend and calorie target current. On Apple Watch it also reads heart rate and distance during a tracked run.
Health data stays on your device and in your Health app. It is never sent to our server, never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties. You can revoke access at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices, or turn the whole integration off inside Wareform.
Location
Wareform asks for location only to measure a run you start yourself. It requests While Using the App access. During an active run it keeps recording with the screen locked — that's what makes the distance right — and stops the moment you end the run.
Your location is used on your device to calculate distance, pace, and elevation gain. It is never transmitted to our server and never shared. The run's totals are saved to your own storage and, with permission, to Apple Health.
Camera and photos
The camera is used to scan barcodes and to photograph a meal. A meal photo is sent once for identification, as described above, and the copy kept in your food diary stays in your own storage. Barcode scanning happens entirely on your device — the camera feed is never transmitted; only the resulting number is looked up.
Notifications
Reminders for vitamins, meal logging, training days, and the rest timer are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a push server, and we cannot send you a notification.
What we don't do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifier (IDFA)
- No analytics, crash-reporting, or attribution SDKs — the app links no third-party packages at all
- No selling or sharing of personal information, under any definition, including the CCPA's
- No tracking across other apps or websites, as Apple defines tracking
- No profiles built about you
Children
Wareform is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because the app has no accounts and collects nothing, there is nothing for us to delete — but if you have a concern, please write to us.
Your rights
Rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data — under the GDPR, the CCPA, or similar laws — apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to return or erase. Your own copy is under your control: view and edit it in the app, export it through Apple Health where applicable, and delete it by removing the app and clearing its iCloud data. For the App Attest key identifier, email us and we'll delete the record.
Third parties
Data you send to these services is handled under their own policies: Anthropic, Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, and FatSecret. iCloud sync and Apple Health are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top, and for anything material we'll note it in the app's release notes. Continuing to use Wareform after a change means you accept the updated policy.
